Prospective Permanent and Locum Physicians

Marathon FHT is currently recruiting for three permanent physicians to join our enthusiastic and competent interdisciplinary team at our recently renovated, spacious clinic. A variety of ER and clinic work is available and opportunities are available for family physicians with special interests e.g. exercise stress testing, anesthesia, low risk obstetrics, chemotherapy, chronic pain management, palliative care, colonoscopies. Hospital ER call coverage and clinic hours are negotiated to meet individual and/or family needs. Clinic only positions are also available. For those who are interested, there are also opportunities for research and for teaching medical students and residents from the Northern Ontario School of Medicine and other medical school students seeking rural experience. Our part-time physicians are earning $240 000 plus (salary via RNPGA agreement plus sessional fees for ER call, obstetrics and/or anesthesia on call). In addition, physicians new to Marathon FHT qualify for an additional $117 000 over four years. No buy-in required.

In addition to permanent physicians, we are also seeking summer and autumn locums.
