Physician Services
The physicians of MFHT provide comprehensive primary care services. The hours of each physician are varied. The physicians of MFHT also are responsible for the provision of medical care at Wilson Memorial General Hospital and these duties include inpatient care, emergency department work, and for some of the physicians, additional services such as obstetrical deliveries, chemotherapy, exercise stress testing, and trigger point injections.
The physicians are committed to teaching other medical learners including medical students from the Northern Ontario School of Medicine as well as other medical schools. They have also hosted nurse practitioner students and other learners. When you attend your appointment you may meet one of the learners working with your physician.
