Visiting MFHT when Feeling Unwell or Testing Positive for COVID-19

It has been a while since we shared COVID-19 and respiratory illness-related information, so here’s a friendly reminder:

If you’re feeling unwell, please follow these guidelines:

• Stay home and self-isolate until your symptoms have improved for at least 24 hours (48 hours if you have nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea).

Wear a mask at all times when outside your homes for a full 10 days from when your symptoms started.

💡 Important: Individuals who test positive for COVID-19 but are not experiencing symptoms do not need to isolate. However, we kindly request that you inform our clinic staff of your positive test result. Your cooperation will help us prevent the spread of illness within our facility.

Protecting our patients is our top priority: To minimize the risk of virus transmission, especially for those at higher risk of severe illness, we offer alternative appointment options for patients experiencing symptoms or testing positive for COVID-19.

Our team’s health matters too: As your primary healthcare team, we are dedicated to serving our community with comprehensive and timely access to quality healthcare. However, we also acknowledge that the well-being of our physicians and employees is crucial. Healthcare services in our communities may be impacted if too many staff members and healthcare providers fall ill and are unable to work.

We appreciate your assistance in helping us maintain a healthy organization and community.
