Enrollment Matters: Help the Clinic Maintain Local Healthcare Funding

Marathon Family Health Team (MFHT) is dedicated to delivering a wide range of services from routine check-ups to managing chronic conditions, mental health support, vaccinations, and all other initiatives that contribute to community health and well-being. But did you know that the funding for the number of healthcare providers, programs and services we offer at MFHT depends on enrollment numbers? This funding also influences the number of physicians available to us and is crucial not only for primary care but for keeping the hospital ER open and providing access to specialized services like obstetrics.

Our Patient Enrollment Drive

In the coming weeks, we will be actively engaging in a patient enrollment drive to help us maintain essential funding that directly impacts the quality and accessibility of healthcare services available to our patients.

Currently, our clinic’s enrollment stands at 77% of approximately 3600 patients. However, our target is 83%. Achieving our goal means continued access to quality healthcare services, including physician services, for everyone in our communities.

When you enroll with our clinic, you are officially saying to the Ministry of Health that Marathon Family Practice is your main healthcare location. By enrolling, you contribute to the sustainability and potential growth of our healthcare programs for the entire community’s benefit.
