For the month of March, which also happens to be Nutrition Month, MFHT invites community members to participate in our 2024 Nutrition Challenge!
Nutrition Month is a time for us to celebrate all things delicious and nutritious for our bodies, with a focus on foods that keep us feeling strong and fueled to do the activities we enjoy. It’s also a time to think about where our food comes from and how we can make sure everyone has access to nutritious meals. So, during Nutrition Month, we celebrate good food, good health, and making smart choices to keep our bodies happy!
Each week will focus on a different piece of Canada’s Food Guide, so keep an eye on our social media pages or website if you are interested in learning a little more about each topic.
- Week 1: Fruits & Vegetables
- Week 2: Proteins & Whole Grains
- Week 3: Building Healthy Habits
- Week 4: Rethink your Drink
How the challenge works:
- Each week will have a theme that focuses on a different section of Canada’s Food Guide.
- Weekly themes will begin every Wednesday.
- During each week, participants are encouraged to complete a minimum of 4 out of the 6 mini-challenges.
- For every week that participants accomplish 4 or more mini-challenges, they will earn 1 entry into a prize draw held at the end of the challenge (max. 4 entries per person).
- By April 5th, send a photo of your tracking sheet to [email protected] or drop it off at the front desk at the clinic for a chance to win a $25 grocery store gift card!
