June 20, 2025 – The Marathon Family Health Team (MFHT) is proud to announce a generous $10,000 donation from Marinos Spourdalakis in support of its ongoing efforts to provide high-quality, accessible healthcare to residents of Marathon and the surrounding area.

This meaningful contribution highlights the strong connection between MFHT and the communities it serves. Mr. Spourdalakis shared that the donation was made in appreciation of the care and support he has received over the years, and in recognition of the dedication shown by MFHT’s staff and providers. “This place has been good to me,” he said, adding, “Dr. Orrantia is number one.”

“This generous gift means so much to our organization,” said Joanne Berube, Executive Director. “It speaks to the respect, trust, and appreciation our community has for the work our team provides”.

The donation will be used to enhance patient care through the purchase of much-needed medical equipment, which will directly benefit those who rely on MFHT for their healthcare needs.
