Started in 1999 (I came here to cover Sarah’s maternity leave as a locum and have been here ever since!)

What you like about practice:  I really like primary care practice in the office and the opportunity to support my patients to live their best lives over time. The opportunity to explore who i am in relation to my patients and my work matters to me and I have found working with indigenous patients in our communities deeply meaningful.

What you do outside of general primary care practice:  I love my camp on Lake Superior and spend as much time there as I can.  I enjoy paddling, camping, music, sourdough bread making, and board games (especially Catan).  I have valued the opportunity to support refugees in our community and have been really active with the community garden initiative locally.

Clinical interests within medicine:  Mental health, women’s health, the health and care of indigenous people, and obstetrical care…
