What you like about practice: I love that we get to do a little bit of everything, the days are never the same. I love the team I work with – I always feel supported and valued. The practice has allowed me to grow and expand my skills.

What you do outside of general primary care practice:  I have been dipping my toes in research but still learning.  I enjoy teaching medical students and residents. I am also a school board trustee representing Marathon for the Superior-Greenstone district school board.

Clinical interests within medicine: I am very interested in lifestyle medicine (completing my ACLM certification) and I have completed my training in obesity medicine (ABOM). I am also interested in IFS therapy but waiting to win a lottery for my level 1 training. I assist in the ketamine-assisted psychotherapy program here in Marathon. I also do remote clinics at the Biitigong reserve.

Anything else you want to share: I am a mom of 6 amazing humans. I am a board game fanatic. I love exploring and learning about the North shore.
